Life in Rexburg

Working at the mill has been very interesting. The majority of people come through and get scared a little and their passing through is rather uneventful for the workers. However last night there was a girl that came through that was probably about 16 or 17 that was unbelievably drunk who gave many of the workers a hard time and she actually tried to choke me. What is the deal with that? If people want to drink that is their concern, but when under age kids drink excessively where it affects other people I do have a problem with that. Where are these kids parents? Seriously! I guess I am not a parent yet though, so maybe my perspective will change. I still don't appreciate almost being choked though.
As Michael from The Office said, "I don't get why parents are always complaining about how tough it is to raise kids. I joke around with 'em, you give 'em pizza, you give 'em candy. You let 'em live their lives. They're adults for [goodness] sake."

The weather is starting to turn cold in Rexburg. This weekend there is a good chance that we will get snow. I'm not ready for the snow. I guess it is time to go pull winter coats out and probably for the duration of the next 7 and a half months we will look something like this...
